Here is one of their Humvees after being hit by a landmine. D was telling me that these things are pretty strong and there isn't much that can damge them from the outside to the inside. But still how would you like to be driving along and then.....this?

So if you couldn't tell these pictures are pretty graphic. But my friend D is in the army and he came down to Phoenix for a week or so with his family to visit and he brought me some pictures of Iraq. He has been twice now and is probably going to be going back. A lot of the pictures I have are really bad but I just wanted to give people a first hand look at what these soldiers are facing over there. The media only shows certain things but this is a little piece of what really happens over there.
