Well, here we are again, Thanksgiving. It seems like only yesterday since we were getting ready for the holidays.
We have decided to take a non turkey route thiss year. I think it is a great decision and I know it is going to be a great weekend.
I know the boys will like having all the family around for a few days, plus it keeps them out of trouble.
Plus 4 days off work sounds like a great idea and gives time to rejuvinate and have a solid end to the year.
Although, Thanksgiving does bring up the fact that Christams is only a month away especially with the infamous Black Friday. I think I will definately be sterering clear of all shopping places on Friday. Even though this year some of the deals maybe to good to pass up.
I certainly have a lot to be thankful for this year and I will definately enjoy spoending time with everyone.
I will not be posting until Monday probab;y but I did get more pics uploaded on the computer at home so there shold be a lot of good stuff when you check back then.
Have a safe and happy holidays and I will see you all when you get back.
Enjoy, be merry and be safe!!!

Hi Guys,
So I must apoligize. I haven't yet uploaded any new pics to my work computer, which sucks as I have many new pics of Zane and the park and all kinds of cool stuff I just haven't got them on here yet.
So, I will leave it all as this for this week and will definately make sure to bring the new pics with me on Monday.
Have a great weekend.

Hump Day...Finally
O.k., So I know I missed a couple of days but I have really trying to get stuff together here at work. It has been a busy week so far and I am very happy to be the one to remind you that it is

hump day and I am delighted about that. I am also very happy to announce that I just got done watching England beat Germany 2-1 in a friendly. I know it was only a friendly people but we won. Good News, trust me, especially if you are an England fan.
This weekend is going to be good. However I am again going to be working at the George & Dragon again on Central for the day from 11-6. Please feel free to come on by as I will be bartending and I would love to take your money.
This pic was from when David and Lydia were in town. Lydia liked to play with the boys in the pool. Although we did pull out the

kiddie pool a little later and got some great video from it. As soon as I get it uploaded I will post it for all to enjoy.
Alright peeps gotta be back to work so I will see you all tomorrow, hopefully. Have a great rest of the day and be safe.

Sweet It's Friday...
Well, Hello All,
It is Friday!!! And I am definately ready for the weekend. I have had a long week at work and am definately ready to spend a day or two with the family.
It's been a while as I worked all through the last couple of weekends doing odd jobs for people and making some extra cash, you know how it is.
So, when I came into work this morning I had a new email from my mum and attached were some more pictures from the weekend that David and Lydia were in town.
And I was so amazed to get this first picture it has to be one of the best pictures ever and now my most favorite. Thanks to Adam he took this picture of Amanda, when she didn't want to take it and I love it. What a great pic of the most beautiful and amazing woman EVER.
This one was also attached. What a great picture of Mason and Zane. This will be a great picture to show the boys as they get older. That's one of the things about my blog. It will be forvever available to me and all of the pics I post will be on here for years to come.
So, thank you to whomever decided to create this website and blogs in general. I must also thank Charlie for getting me to start a blog as if not for him I wouldn't be here now. So, thank you Charlie. You should check his blog out HERE. A warning though it is very interesting and funny so if you don't want that don't look, otherwise have fun. I hope you all have a great weekend and whatever it is you are planning on doing be safe.

Zoo
Hello Everyone,
Hope all is well and things are going good for all of you. It's almost Friday which makes me VERY happy.
This picture was taken at my mums house a while ago. Well, not a while ago but a few weeks ago. I don't really like it but it is a picture and almost any pictures can go on my blog.
I don't like it because I look drunk. Which to make it clear I'm NOT but I look like it. I don't remember what Zane was ooking at but it was obviously very interesting.
So, the last week my grandma was here her and my mum took the boys to the Phoenix Zoo. They had a great time and saw lots of stuff.
Mason and Jack are becoming 2 peas in a pod. I know as they get older they will be closer and closer. They actually ask about each other now. Here they are posing with a Gorilla at the zoo.
Like I said, they are becoming best friends and as you can see they have no problem holding hands. Which I am ok with at this point but as they get older if they are still holding hands we might have to talk.
Thanks to mum and grandma for taking them I know they had fun and we really appriciated it.

November, November
Well, I cannot belive it is November already and not to mention almost the end of November. It has been a very long last few months and apologies go out to all the readers I have. I didnt know so many of you checked out Thelwell's World on a regular basis. I guess my blog is likeable. Who knew.
If you haven't seen him yet here is our neweset edition to the family. Zane. He is 3 months old now and getting bigger by the day. I know that in the blink of an eye he will be graduating and I won't know what to do with myself.
So, finally my Grandma came into town from England and stayed for about 3 weeks. I know its kinda a long time but I
can never have too much time with her.
She got to meet Amanda for the first time and also see Mason and Zane also. Mason loved her of course. Who doesn't Mason love? We had a really nice time and it was great to see her.
Hopefully soon I will be able to take Amanda to England and show her where I came from. Even though there's really not much to show I think it is still important to show her.
Speaking of Amanda, here is a good pic of me and her at the Paramore concert at the Mesa Ampitheatre. I think it was in August, oh yeah that's right cause she was about 7 days away from having Zane, who which was born on 8/8/08!!
We had a great time at the concert. Good ol' Angie came with us and experienced the likes of Paramore. Last time we saw them, they were out at the Marque in Tempe and it was a little better I thought but what can you do.
Anyways, keep posted as I now have
an excuse to post everyday. It's called work, and I am on this box all day and I figured what better to do than post on my new looking blog on a constant basis while I am taking my lunch? Sunday, September 7, 2008
Football Is Back!!!
Well, finally, football season is back. I think for me and my Broncos we will have a good year this year and I am really excited as for Week 1 the Broncos play the Raiders. And not only that but it is on Monday night football so I am happy and I know it will be a good game. Plus Mrs C is heading over with Charlie to watch the game so we will have a goood time. I know it.

Sleeping
This was captured before we moved into our new place and Amanda decided to take a pic pof me and Mason sleeping. I think it is a good picture although I wish I new about it before I loaded it onto the computer but oh well. There are worse pictures of me on here already so what he heck.

Zane Arrives
8/8/08 was the best day of my life. Zane Alexander arrived at 7:41 pm weighing 7lbs 8oz and just under 21 inches long. it was amazing and his big brother was there to welcome into this world. He looks a little different now but not much I'll get some new pictures soon and I will also be trying to attempt to stay up to date a little more on my blog as I have more readers than I thought and I have been getting some nmessages about not being up to date for that I apoligise.

A Little Bit Of May
So, I know I always say this but I am sorry to you avid readers of Thelwell's World for not keeping up with my posting but work and other things have been a little higher on the list but hopefully we can get back on track. It was our first anniversary at the beginning of May and we decided to go up to South Mountin for the sunset. It was beautiful and I am so happy that I found Amanda. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't be where I am today and I am very thankful for that. Thank you Amanda I love you and look forward to many more happy and amazing years with you,
The view from South Mountain is great. You can pretty much see all of Phoenix and I reccomend going up there if you are in the mood for a beautiful sunset or awesome hike.
Ylou can't beat a great sunset, especially for a romantic evening. It was just nice to get away from it all in the city and relax for a few in peace and quite and wath the sun go down with the woman I love the most.
My boys the D-Backs aren't too hot at the moment but they are still top of the league and I couldn't ask for more. With Eric Byrnes out and a 10 game road trip things aren't looking to good for the D-Backs but I will stand behind them all the way to the world series. We went to a game a few weeks ago and thanks to a guy at Amanda's work we got great seats, almost behind home plate. They ended up winnig if I remember correctly but it was the elimination game for the Suns that night and we ended up watching the remainder of that game in the concourse.
But, it was still a great night and we had lots of fun. If you get the chance to go a D-Backs game you should they are fun. They do take up a good portion of the day so plan ahead and beer isn't so cheap either but hey it's all worht it as long as you enjoy yourself and who ever you are with.

San Diego 08
So I told you we were going to San Diego well, expect a lot of pictures. I think I took around 400 or so pictures. I mean obviously I;m not going to post them all but I will post enough so you know what we experienced. We had so much fun while we were there. This is a picture of a little bit of the road on the way to San Diego. It wasn't that bad of a drive. This was on the I-8 which is pretty much the majority of the trip. It is a long road but worth the drive. I made it there in about 6 hours but we did stop about 4 times so next time I think I can make it faster.
Amanda had never seen these before and I explained to her that there are plenty of these when you go to L.A through Palm Springs. However there were a few on the way to San Diego and she thought they were really cool so she snapped up a couple of picturtes of them.
Again, we took a lot of pictures while we were there but I just picked picked out the ones that I thought would be good for the blog. This picture was taken at the gorilla exibit at the San Diego Zoo. This was like the king of all gorilla's. It was definately the biggest gorilla I have ever seen up close. The exibit was a little ways into the zoo but definatley worth it. The San Diego Zoo was amazing I had never been before and it was an unforgetable experience.

The New Car
My old car, the oldsmobile conked out on me about a month ago, so I thought it was necessary to get a new one. Here it is. Small, good on gas and not bad looking. It is a 2004 Chevy Aveo. I like it. It gets me around and it is reliable.
The Chevy is about to take it's very first road trip tomorrow. It is going to take Me, Amanda and Mason (and Zane) all the way to sunny San Diego. it is our first trip together. Well besides Washington, but that doesn't count. I am looking so forward to it I can't explain it. We are going to have so much fun and i'm sure the little Chevy is going to like getting out of Arizona for a few days. We are going to be gone for four days. I am confident in the chevy as I wouldn't have been in the Oldsmobile. Keep posted for pics from San Diego.

Zane Alexander Thelwell
Here he is ladies and gentlemen. Zane Alexander Thelwell. Coming to you on or about August 18th 2008. Let me tell you I am so excited to be having a baby. Ok well not me physically but you know what I mean. Look at my son. I am already proud of him and he hasn't even been born yet. We just chose the name today, so that makes it that more exciting that he has a name now. And I know that Mason will be super excited when his little brother arrives.

Steele Indian Park
So, obviously Mason being the little kid he is loves the park, I mean what kid doesn't so a couple of weeks ago I decided to take Mason to Steele Indian Park in the downtown area. It was a beautiful day. We took kis bike and tried to learn how to ride it. I still think he is a little young to be riding a bike but i'm sure he will get it soon. This picture was taken from the little hill that is next to the playground. I didn't think it would be this good of a view. Sorry to all you avid readers of Thelwell's World. It has been very busy here between starting the new job and doctors appointments and all but hopefuly I will be able to keep up on the blog so please stick around.

My New Job
Well, it's official folks. I am now an employee of Zipps Sports Grill. Even though I haven't worked my first shift yet I went in yesterday and filled out my paperwork and got the ball rolling. My first shift is on Monday and I am very excited about this new venture. I think it is going to be nice to get back into the bar/restaraunt scene. My last day at the radio station was yesterday also. I don't think a lot of you will be able to make it up to see me as I am at the Frank Lloyd Wright location 3 days a week and the Kierland location 2 days a week. I am excited and I am looking forward to it. If you haven't ever been to Zipps check them out HERE.

Encanto Park
On Monday (presidents day) we decided to take a trip to Enchanted Island at Encanto Park in the downtown area. Encanto park is really cool and a great place to take the kids. It has a mini amusement park in side including a train, rides, games, food and more.
Mason seemed to have a blast. Here he is riding one of the motorcycle rides at the park. He loves these things and screams so loud, but thats ok. As long as he is having fun that's all that matters. It was nice we took some lunch and had a picnic. I must say if you asked me a year ago if I thought I would be doing this I would have asked you if you were crazy. But I am so happy that I am doing it and can't wait until we get to take the new baby with us.
Of course, you can't go to a park with rides and not have Amanda ride any. I tell ya. The kid in her seems to come out and just have a blast. I hope the poor baby is ok. Maybe this will be the last time she rides anything until after she has the baby. Plus if it spins...I don't go on it.

Adam & Jack
Well, I must say it is a very difficult process to get a good picture of Adam. He always seems to pull funny faces for pictures but he probably wasn't allowed to in these pro pictures they had taken right around Jacks 2nd birthday. I really like this picture and I think it shows off one of the best Dads of all time.
Ladies
Oh my, Washington was fun but you know how the girls always seem to have more fun. I don't know how but for us guys it's just usually playing pool and having a beer or two. Well these girls aint no strangers to the pool table and Heather (next to Amanda) used to be my pool partner until I woke up and realised that I needed to change some stuff in my life but I certainly do miss playing pool with H-Town.

Romney Out, McCain In?
Wow, I thought this was interesting. Mitt Romney has dropped out of the race for the republican nomination which leaves Sen. John McCain pretty much in the drivers seat for the nomination. Although I am not quite sure if he gets there who he will be up against. It is still close between Clinton and Obama so I don't know but we will find out as the big day gets closer i'm sure. Any thoughts?
A Good Pic Finally
Ha ha finally a picture of Mason that is good. I know he likes to have his picture taken but this morning I was trying to get a shot of him and he was playing with his phone and because of camera phones he thought he was tking pictures on his phone so I got a bunch of him with a cell phone in front of his face but then I figured it out. And here is the result.
Washington Family
Ok, here is the gang from up north in Washington, as you can see I need you to feel sorry for me and mason as we are the only 2 guys here in this picture. As most of Amandas family are females I am curious to see what the new baby is going to be. I love all of these guys and I hope that we get to see them soon.

Shaq Moves to Phoenix
Sleeping and Frost
Mason is pictured here fast asleep. He isn't the best person for getting to fall asleep, but for some reason that onlu applies when his momis home. Whenever it is just me and him he falls right asleep, weird I know but I thought I would share.
Ok, so I know it isn't as white as some other parts of the country but I thought it was kind of nice seeing a little frost on the roofs of downtown phoenix. And for all you people that say it doesn't get cold in Arizona. I know it doesn't get as cold as some places but freeing point is freezing point it's not like we have a higher point just cause we're in the desert.

Mason
So, I was looking through some old pics of this one and came across the monster giving a big grin to the camera. I mean he is not camera shy what so ever which is actually nice. He looks a little more like a baby in this picture. I am going to be taking some more current pictures of him so stick around.
More Celebs From Super Thursday
There were plenty of stars on the red carpet on Super Thursday although I was excited, there were some celebrities that I couldn't remeber the names of. For example this guy. I know he has been in movies but I can't remember his name. Any help?
And I guess it wouldn't be a party with out this guy there. I didn't recognize him at first but then as I got closer. There he was idol Reggie Sanders. Up close and personal. It was cool to see all these celebrites close up and even get to say hi to some of them.

Super Thursday

So working at the radio station can be quite sometimes but on January 31st we had a huge event at Axis/Radius in Scotssdale to kick off the Super Weekend that was hitting the valley by storm. Diddy was performing and the stars showed up before the show to check it out. As you can see David Spade made and apperance as well as Indy Car driver Danika Patrick and Arizona resident Wolf from the new series of American Gladiators. I had a lot of fun but learned something new about myself also. I'll post some more pics from this event soon. I have a lot more, so stick around. Thanks to Eugene Espero for these great pictures.

More Xmas Pics
Here are a few more pictures from christmas at Santas Theme Park. I like this picture. I think Mason had a lot of fun this night and I'm sure Amanda did too. I think she went on more rides than Mason did.
Wow....this picture reveals the true identity of Amanda she is a little loopy and forgets that she is all grown up sometimes. No just joking babe. She loves to go out and have some fun though I know that much. I know it is January and christmas is over with so that will be the last pictures that I post of the holidays. I hope you all had a good holidays and that you started the new year off right. Keep posted cause I am back and you never know when you may get an update.
